.Hack 4 Quanantine Cover Marvel vs Capcom 2: $49 – $204

Even though there has been a significant decrease of the resale value of open copies of MvC2 since it’s re-release on XBox Live Arcade and Playstation Network, it still tops the list of valuable PS2 games (although Ico may eventually steal the #1 spot if it remains a PS2 exclusive).   Sealed copies of this 2D fighter still command a very high premium to collectors and show up every now and then on eBay.

Ico Cover Ico: $49 – $120

Ico has long been a underground favorite of the PS2 library.  Once it’s spiritual successor, Shadow of the Colossus, gained fame, Ico’s profile has increased and the value of the game has stayed solid.  It will be interesting to see if this classic ever gets re-released as a digital download and if the values will also rise if Team Ico’s third project, The Last Guardian is a big hit.
